Thursday’s Butler City Council meeting was the last for three members of local government.
Butler Mayor Tom Donaldson presented ‘Keys to the City’ to council members Cheri Readie and Bill May, as well as City Treasurer Jeff Smith.
All three thanked their co-workers and looked back on their time as civil servants, as well as their accomplishments.
Democrat Corey Roche and Republican Mike Walter will officially join council Jan. 4. John Grenci will take over for Smith in the New Year.
