A local school is staging a classic of the season to benefit a local food bank.
Seneca Valley students will perform The Grinch Who Stole Christmas at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Haine Elementary School and Thursday at Rowan Elementary.
In place of the cost of admission, donations of food or toiletry items for Gleaner’s Food Bank are requested.
Items needed include peanut butter and jelly, pasta and jarred spaghetti sauce, cereal, canned tuna, rice, toilet paper, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo and tissues. Donations of expired items cannot be accepted.
