The Knoch boy’s basketball team lost to section foe Highlands Tuesday night by a final of 50-45.
In a fast pace game featuring a plethora of threes for both teams, Knoch held a 24-21 halftime lead, but could not overcome a big Golden Rams’ fourth quarter.
Leading Highlands offensively was junior guard Mitch Dezort with 18 points. Senior Jamison Nee finished with 12 points.
As for the Knights, PJ Gourley led the way with 11 points, 7 of which came from the foul line. Jackson McKee contributed 10 points, and Mac Christy finished with 8.
The Knights (now 1-4 on the season) will continue section play on Friday night when they host the Valley Vikings. You can catch all of Friday’s action with Scott Briggs starting around 7:20pm on WISR 680AM and on wisr680.com.
