A 12-year-old boy from northern Butler County was killed in a weekend ATV crash.
According to State Police in Butler, the boy was riding an ATV on private property on Wick Road in Mercer Township Sunday afternoon around 4 p.m. when he crashed. It’s not clear whether the boy was driving the vehicle or was a passenger.
The 12-year-old was taken by ambulance to Grove City Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
