A local man has died after a Friday morning car crash in Mercer County.
According to the State Police, 21-year-old Nicholas Furman of Slippery Rock was a passenger of an SUV driven by a 20-year-old Mercer man which crashed around 10am on Friday in Findlay Township. First responders say that Furman was pronounced dead at the scene
Authorities say that the driver, Fallon Dovidio, was taken to a local hospital by helicopter with severe head injuries. A second passenger, who was a child, appeared to be unharmed.
An investigation into the crash continues.
