There were about 75 power customers in Butler County without service early Tuesday morning following some severe- but brief- storms last evening.
At 6 a.m. Tuesday, West Penn Power was still reporting about 75 outages- the majority of which were in Allegheny Township, Butler County.
Crews hoped to have power restored by this morning.
Central Electric Cooperative was also reporting a handful of outages in Butler County- specifically in Clinton, Concord, Oakland and Penn townships.
CEC was dealing with significant outages Tuesday morning in Clarion and Venango counties.
At its peak on Monday evening, there were about 1,500 Butler County residents without power.
West Penn was reporting scattered outages across the county due to strong winds and heavy rain that knocked down trees, branches and power lines.
There were no reports of any severe damage.
Most of the power outages were restored by 10 p.m. Monday.
