A Butler County native was killed in a weekend car crash.
State police said 29-year-old Ian Campbell of Grove City was speeding while traveling east on Route 108- near Branchton Road- in Slippery Rock Township, Butler County when he lost control of his Jeep Wrangler.
The crash happened just after 2 a.m. on Saturday. The Jeep overturned, and Campbell was ejected.
He was flown to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment, but was later pronounced dead. No other vehicles- or people- were involved in the crash.
Campbell was born in Butler and grew up in Slippery Rock.
