Members of local law enforcement with gather Friday afternoon to honor Saxonburg Police Chief Gregory Adams who was killed in the line of duty 35 years ago today.
Chief Adams’ widow and sons are expected to attend the service, as well as former FBI agents who investigated the incident. The memorial will take place in front of the Saxonburg Municipal Building.
Chief Adams was shot Dec. 4, 1980 while on a traffic stop. His murderer was never found.
