A man from Butler has been charged with DUI in an accident that happened earlier this month in Butler Township.
Victor Weltner, 24, is accused of driving his vehicle onto the front yard of a home on Morton Avenue- hitting a mailbox, some landscaping stones and concrete steps in the process. The crash happened about 2:30 a.m. on June 1.
Butler Township Police allege Weltner fled the scene after the crash, parking his vehicle at the Sheetz on Center Avenue.
Weltner has now been charged with DUI, possession of marijuana, and careless driving.
