The state hunting season for bears has concluded.
According to the Pennsylvania Game Commission, nearly 2,700 bears were harvested, which is up by about 200 bears from last year.
In Butler County, 18 bears were harvested, compared to 23 last year.
Two 713-pound bears tied for the largest harvested in the state this year.
