The Pitt men’s basketball team fell to 11th-ranked Purdue 72-59 last night at the Petersen Events Center in an ACC/Big Ten Challenge game. The Panthers came back from a 17-point deficit early in the second half, but fell to 4-1 on the season.
The Slippery Rock University women’s basketball team improved to 5-3 with a 69-50 victory over Ohio Valley last night. The Rock men defeated Daemen College 72-51 and improve to 4-3.
