Butler City Police are investigating after several people were shot with a BB gun over the weekend.
Police were called to a home at 510 North Washington Street on Friday about 4:15 p.m. to investigate a report that several people were shot with BB gun pellets.
In total, police say five people were struck. People were gathered at this home for a small wedding ceremony that was being held outside.
“A nearby juvenile suspect was located and brought in for questioning, and two BB guns were recovered,” Butler City Police Chief Bob O’Neill said in a press release Monday.
Police aren’t yet saying if they believe this was a deliberate act.
Charges are pending the completion of the investigation.
Police say the victims suffered minor injuries.
