The crash happened at 9:30 a.m. on Hansen Avenue at Peterson Street- which is in front of the Pullman Square shopping plaza.
According to Butler Township Police, 31-year-old Joseph Portera was riding a bicycle eastbound on Peterson Street when he failed to stop at a posted stop sign and rode the bicycle out in front of traffic.
The bicycle collided with the front of a Chevy pickup truck being driven southbound along Hansen Avenue by 56-year-old Shawn Burns of Butler.
