Although some businesses have holiday hours today, many are closed for Thanksgiving.
Municipal offices and all offices at the county, state and federal level are closed, including the Butler County Courthouse, Government Center and Government Center Annex. The Butler City Building is closed both today (Thursday) and Friday. It will re-open Monday.
PennDOT Drivers License Centers, including the one on New Castle Road in Butler, are also closed today and Friday.
The post office is closed. Banks are closed.
The Butler Transit Authority (which operates “The Bus”) will not operate today (Thursday). Regular bus service will resume on Friday.
Cranberry Township residents are reminded of Thanksgiving holiday collection delays. Trash, recycling and yard waste collections in Cranberry scheduled for Thursday and Friday will be delayed by one day.
