Winfield Township is hoping to build a pavilion for users of the Butler-Freeport Community Trail.
Township supervisors hope to OK the one-acre, $4,000 purchase from PennDOT following state and federal approvals.
The parcel of land is located on Winfield Road in Cabot. PennDOT bought the property for an upcoming bridge replacement project.
