A fourth Slippery Rock University student has been arrested following an alleged armed robbery at an off-campus apartment complex last week.
Quatrell Jones, 23, of Johnstown turned himself into police Friday after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He’s accused of entering an apartment at The Grove (off Harmony Road) Thursday afternoon and holding the 21-year-old resident at gunpoint.
Julian Durden, 21, and Robert Brown, 22, (both of Pittsburgh) and Calvert Anderson, 23, of Johnstown were also arrested for the crime Thursday night.
Durden and Anderson played football at SRU and were both scheduled to play in this past weekend’s playoff game. They both were kicked off the team immediately.
