The city of Butler is selling a longtime vacant property.
An appraisal of the former Zeigler Avenue playground on Butler’s South Side places a value of $75,000 on the 1.7 acre property.
The area has not been used as a playground for many years and was abandoned before the city petitioned to regain ownership. The city would like to see condos or town homes be built on the property.
Interested perspective buyers should contact the city zoning office to discuss permitted uses for the property.
