FBI agents head back to Ohio Friday to investigate the 1994 murder of a Beaver County girl.
Sarah Boehm, 14, disappeared 21 years ago after she was last seen leaving her Rochester home to walk two blocks to her friend’s house.
Boehm’s remains were found by a group of hunters about four months later in woods just outside of Canton, Ohio. Police also recovered the remains of 17-year-old Kathryn Menedez about a half a mile from Boehm’s remains. Menendez went missing a month after Boehm went missing.
The FBI says the cases are too much alike to be coincidental. They say they are not giving up until the cold cases are solved and plan to use new technology to find whatever evidence there may be.
