Friday Night High School Playoff Football:
In District 9: Karns City has a first round “bye” in Double-A. They will await the winner of Moniteau (4-6) at. St. Mary’s (7-3). That game begins at 7pm (Friday).
Moniteau defeated St. Mary’s at Moniteau 29-28 earlier this season.
In District 10: Slippery Rock (5-5) will meet Fairview (7-2) Saturday at 1pm. The game will be played at Veterans Stadium in Erie.
In another District 10 quarterfinal game: Hickory will face North East Saturday at 7pm. The game is being played at Slippery Rock University’s Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.
WPIAL Quarterfinals:
The Mars Fighting Planets (9-1) will face Ringgold (9-1) AT Chartiers Valley High School at 7:30pm
In Double-A: The Freeport Yellowjackets (9-1) will meet undefeated Washington (10-0) AT Hempfield High School at 7:30pm.
#2 seed in Single-A: Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic Trojans (10-0) will face #7 Bishop Canevin 7-3) AT Deer Lakes High School at 7:30pm.
In Quad-A: Pine-Richland (9-1) will meet Mount Lebanon Blue Devils (9-1) AT North Allegheny High School at 7:30pm.
North Allegheny Tigers (9-1) takes on Pittsburgh Central Catholic Vikings (9-1) AT Martorelli Stadium in the North Hills on Friday, November 13th at 7:30pm.
