Most people are winding down as the holidays approach and the year rolls to a close, but Charles Kelley is doing just the opposite. He is gearing up to hit the road right after Thanksgiving in support of his debut solo single, “The Driver,” and he won’t slow down until the end of January. Oh, and by the way, he’s anticipating the birth of his first child with wife Cassie in early 2016.
But as Charles tells us, he’s got it all under control. 
“Ironically the timing’s working out good. My wife is due in mid-February, and I’m gonna go out over the late fall and winter and do two or three months of clubs and just get that out of my system a little bit, you know, and then have the record come out sometime early next year and be able to have that time, too, to spend with my newborn boy.”
Charles hits the road on The Driver tour beginning on November 28th in Cleveland, OH.
“The Driver” features special guests Dierks Bentley and Eric Paslay.
