The Butler Area School Board is considering two offers made for the former Meridian Elementary School building.
At a meeting Monday, the board revealed that Michael D. Wright made an offer of $425,000 for the property to house a family-owned business called 70E Solutions that tests electrical protective equipment.
The district also received an offer of $350,000 from Ken McDonald and Brent Thomas for the purpose of a senior residential facility.
Meridian was valued by the two separate appraisers and placed at between $400,000 and $660,000.
No action was taken on these offers apart from discussion.
No offers have been revealed for the former Oakland or Clearfield elementary schools.
