A local couple will receive financial help from Butler Downtown’s Revolving Loan Fund Program.
Butler City Council has approved a $140,000 loan to Joseph and Jacquelyn Gray for the purpose of purchasing and renovating the property at 122 West Brady Street, which was formerly Friedmans.
An agreement of sale between the Grays and Friedmans representatives was made public in February. The plans at that time involved renovating the former grocery to be the new offices of Gateway Engineers with some space available for lease. No additional details have been released at this time.
The Butler Downtown Revolving Loan Fund Committee recommended approval of this proposal.
