Rescue crews found a young woman who went missing while hiking Thursday evening at McConnells Mill State Park.
Police say 23-year-old Lindsay Dickie of Valencia called 911 around 6 p.m. to report that she had gotten lost and was disoriented. Her phone then went dead.
Crews focused their search in the Slippery Rock Gorge area, near the Eckert Bridge and Breakneck Falls. Search dogs were brought in to help crews. That area can be a very treacherous, rugged area.
Dickie was found off of one of the main hiking trails around 11 p.m. She was not seriously hurt but did have an ankle injury.
