WPIAL Girls Volleyball playoffs:
Top-ranked Freeport defeated South Fayette 3-1 last night in the Double-A semi-finals. The Yellow Jackets will meet West Shamokin in the WPIAL championship game Saturday at Baldwin high school. The match begins at 3:30pm.
The Seneca Valley Girls were defeated by North Allegheny 3-0 last night in the Triple-A semi-finals. The Raiders will meet Upper St. Clair Saturday in the WPIAL consolation game. The winner will advance to the PIAA tournament.
North Allgheny will meet Baldwin for the WPIAL championship Saturday.
The Mars Boys and Girls Soccer teams will play for the WPIAL championship Saturday afternoon at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh. The girls will face South Park
