Tim McGraw launches the release week of his new album, Damn Country Music, and CMA Awards day with a nationally-televised performance. The superstar will start by waking up fans in downtown Nashville and around the country with an early morning live performance from an outdoor stage on ABC’s Good Morning America today (Wednesday, November 4th).
Tim is no stranger to national morning shows, but he says this appearance is especially exciting. “I’ve never done it here in Nashville on the morning shows when they’ve come here. I’ve done morning shows plenty of times but it’s always been up in New York or something like that, playing outdoors on a stage there, but it’s gonna be . . . The energy that’s gonna be in town, all the fans that are gonna be in town for the CMA Awards and everything that goes on around it . . . The only caveat is it’s gonna be an early morning but I’m a dad so I’m used to a little bit earlier mornings than most people, most musicians, I guess.”
McGraw’s new Damn Country Music album will be released on Friday (November 6th).
