Democrats swept the three seats up for grabs on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
According to unofficial results, Democratic Superior Court Judges David Wecht and Christine Donohue, both of Allegheny County, joined with Philadelphia Common Pleas Judge Kevin Dougherty to the lead the seven-person field.
They defeated Judy Olson, Mike George, Anne Covey and Paul Panepinto.
The win will likely ensure the Democratic party’s control of the state’s highest court for years to come.
Tuesday was the first time in 30 years that three Supreme Court seats were up for grabs.
