A Saxonburg woman was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital early Tuesday morning after an alleged assault in Alameda Park in Butler Township.
According to Butler Township Police, the 38-year-old woman called 911 around 5 a.m. and claimed she had been assaulted and thrown out of a truck in one of the park’s parking lots.
An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital. The extent of her injuries is unknown.
Police say they are continuing to investigate the alleged incident and hope to obtain the woman’s written statement today.
The woman allegedly told police the assaulter was someone she knew.
