It’s the 5th year of the candy buyback program with Butler Smiles Dentistry in Butler.
Dr. Bob Todd, owner of the business, says the goal is to help Operation Gratitude, which supports troops overseas. Care packages are created for troops that include the donated candy.
Individuals have also donated cash in the past and you are more than welcome to do so again this year. With that money, Dr Bob Todd’s office will buy DVDs to add to the packages that are sent overseas.
If you have left over candy, you are welcome to drop it off as well but kids who give their candy will get an extra reward. They’ll receive from Butler Smiles Dentistry $1 a pound for up to 5 pounds of candy.
Dr. Todd’s office partners with pediatric dentist Dr. Stephanie Kobil in Butler. Butler Smiles Dentistry is in Butler Township at the Corner of Route 68 and Duffy Road. Dr. Kobil’s office is located on Route 8 across from the car dealerships.
