The WPIAL Soccer playoffs resume tonight. The Seneca Valley Boys (14-1-1) will face Canon-McMillan (16-3) at 8pm in the Triple-A semi-final round. The game will be played at North Allegheny high school.
The Seneca Valley Girls (16-3) will meet top-seeded Norwin (20-0-0) in the semi-finals at 6pm prior to the Boys game also at N.A.
In the Double-A semi-finals: Mars (17-2-1) will meet Thomas Jefferson (18-1-1) at Moon high school. Game time is also 8pm.
The Mars (15-2) Girls will face Central Valley (16-0-1) in the semi-finals tonight at Moon high school at 6pm.
The Slippery Rock University women’s soccer team won one of its most important Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference games of the season Saturday afternoon with a 2-1 victory against Kutztown University. The win clinched the third seed for SRU in the upcoming Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament.

The Slippery Rock University men’s soccer team cruised to a 7-0 victory against the University of Pitt-Johnstown Saturday at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium in its regular-season finale to clinch a first round home game in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament.
