Cranberry Township has been ranked sixth on a list of the best communities in the country for trick or treating.
The ranking was posted on the website The Daily Meal. Cranberry Township Manager Jerry Andree said he isn’t surprised.
“Our community is very family oriented and we have a lot of kids in the neighborhoods…we’ve always celebrated Halloween with a pretty high profile. The entire Public Safety organization comes out and we have triple patrols in the neighborhoods. Families come out and have events in their driveways. So it’s really a neighborhood event here.”
Trick or treat in Cranberry is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
