Students at a local elementary school will be learning more about their community tomorrow.
First through fourth grade Seneca Valley students at Evans City Elementary will hear from two people who attended the school in the 1930s and 40s.
The two individuals will speak from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Friday about what it was like when they attended the school during that period.
The speakers are a part of a program called “Honoring Evans City Elementary’s History” which teaches students about how their community was in the past and encourages them to compare to their lives today.
