Mail carriers across the country- including here in Butler- are asking for your help to give local food banks a boost.
Saturday is the National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive.
Mail carriers will be collecting nonperishable food donations left by or in residents’ mail boxes during their regular deliveries.
Food donations can also be taken to the post office on South Main Street in Butler on Saturday until 4 p.m.
Locally, the U.S. Postal Service is working with the Alliance for Non-Profit Resources in Butler to aid local families and individuals.
