A popular Kittanning boat race may be coming back next year.
It’s been almost 20 years since the Riverbration boat race was held on the Allegheny River in Kittanning. The three-day festival started in the 1950s.
The 2016 Riverbration is scheduled for Aug. 19-21st at Kittanning Riverfront Park. It will be hosted by the Three Rivers Outboard Racing Association.
