The tricks and treats of the season begin a few days early for kids in the Mars School District.
Mars Area High School Student Council is holding their annual Trick-or-Treat Night from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday at the high school.
The event is open to children in the district up to and including third grade. The evening includes trick or treating in the halls, cookies and refreshments in the cafeteria, and a costume contest.
All kids must be accompanied by an adult.
All those attending are asked to bring a canned good or another non-perishable item to donate to a food drive for the Lighthouse Foundation food bank in Middlesex Township.
