Area gas prices did fall a couple cents last week.
AAA East Central says the average price of a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve in Western Pennsylvania is now $2.39.
The average price in Butler for a gallon of gas is a bit lower at $2.37.
The national average is $2.26.
