The Butler School Board is considering at least two offers made on buildings they currently have for sale.
District Superintendent Dr. Dale Lumley said Monday night that the administration has received “a couple” of offers on consolidated buildings, which were then passed onto the school board for consideration.
After rejecting both offers received in a sealed bid process last month, the district is now trying to sell the former Meridian, Broad Street, Oakland and Clearfield elementary schools on their own. Lumley would not specify which buildings received offers.
After a closed-door meeting for over 90 minutes Monday, the school board decided not to take to any action on the offers at this time.
