A national television show is set to film a segment in Butler County.
The syndicated series called “World’s Greatest!” travels to communities across the country to find unique stories. According to the show’s web site, the show is “a fast-paced tour around the world featuring behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with some of the most amazing and unique companies, products, people, and travel destinations that the world has to offer.”
The show is currently in its 9th season. It’s described as “edutainment,” meaning the show is not only educational and informative, but it’s also entertaining.
President of the Butler County Tourism Bureau Jack Cohen said Thursday that the show contacted him with interest in doing a segment. Possible ideas include Washington’s Trail, John Roebling and the invention of the Jeep.
Film crews are expected in the county next month.
