The South Butler School Board has hired a new assistant superintendent.
Richard Cavett will be paid a pro-rated salary of $114,000 per year. He starts immediately.
Cavett was the former principal of South Butler’s Intermediate Elementary School. Options to replace Cavett in that role are in discussion.
The assistant superintendent position opened when the board promoted David Zupsic to superintendent just before the beginning of the current school year.
