Victims of the Easter Sunday attacks in Sri Lanka are being remembered here in Butler County and across the state.
On Tuesday, a short program and moment of silence was observed on Slippery Rock University’s campus. Students, and the community, were invited to attend.
In Harrisburg, the Main State Capitol Building was lighted in orange and green Monday night in honor of the nearly 300 people killed and almost 500 wounded.
Commonwealth flags on all state facilities, public buildings and grounds will fly at half-staff until sunset tonight in honor of the victims.
