(8:25 a.m.) An accident on Interstate 79 Tuesday morning just over the Butler County line is causing big traffic backups.
The crash happened just after 8 a.m. on I-79 northbound as you approach Cranberry. Butler County emergency crews have been requested to assist at the scene.
It looks like a tractor trailer is involved and both lanes of traffic are blocked. Traffic is slowly getting by on the shoulder.
