Six people were displaced after a weekend fire in Washington Township, Butler County.
North Washington Volunteer Fire Department Chief Bruce Confer said the fire was caused by a fireplace in the basement that was being used for heat during the power outage.
The fire started Saturday night and destroyed a single-family home in the 2000 block of Oneida Valley Road.
The Red Cross is assisting two adults and four children with food, clothing and temporary lodging. The family lost a pet in the fire.
Damages are estimated at $175,000 for the structure and another 10,000 for the contents.
