A popular fireworks company will move its headquarters into Butler County.
Zambelli Fireworks has been located in New Castle for 125 years but as of the first of the year, its main office is now officially located inside the Thornhill Industrial Park in Warrendale. The company said in a release that the new location will provide better access to more resources. The move is not expected to be completed until March.
The move will not affect the company’s production facility in Lawrence County. It will remain in Edinburg.
“The move was dictated by the growth projections necessitated for on-going demand of our architectural displays,” according to the company’s statement. “The move underscores our commitment to both our costumers, current and future employees.”
Zambelli is one of the largest fireworks companies in the world. They put on more than 1,600 fireworks shows a year.
