Three students escaped from a Butler County juvenile detention facility on Friday.
The Summit Academy students stole their teacher’s car about 1:30 p.m., leading to a police chase.
Officers pursued the vehicle down Bonniebrook Road, onto Route 356, and then Route 28. The vehicle eventually crashed on Rt. 28 near Exit 15.
One student was caught soon after the crash. The other two were apprehended about 8:30 p.m.
