Three people are continuing to recover following a head-on crash Friday afternoon in Penn Township.
Police say 60-year-old Wayne Blank, of Butler, was driving east on Dinnerbell Road and 47-year-old Tracy Taylor, of Butler, was driving west.
Their vehicles collided about 4 p.m., just east of Rockdale Road.
Both Blank and Taylor were flown by medical helicopters to hospitals in Pittsburgh. A 10-year-old passenger was in Taylor’s vehicle and was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital by ambulance.
It’s still unclear what caused the two vehicles to collide but Penn Township Police say it’s not believed drugs, alcohol or speeding was a factor. Their investigation continues.
