Three people- including a young child- were able to escape their wrecked car early Sunday before it burst into flames in Armstrong County.
State police say 35-year-old Allen Best of Clarion was driving south on Route 28/66 in Rayburn Township when he lost control just after 5 a.m.
The car veered over an embankment, hit a fence and rolled over. It then caught fire.
Best’s passenger (25-year-old Angel Marsteller of Clarion) suffered moderate injuries and was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital. A 2-year-old girl was strapped in a child safety seat and was not believed to be hurt. Best was taken to ACMH Hospital with a minor injury.
