When school starts this fall, there will be two new principals at the Seneca Valley School District.
The school board approved the appointment of Robert Ceh as principal of the Seneca Valley Senior High School and Tony Babusci as principal of the Ryan Gloyer Middle School during a meeting Monday.
The senior high school position opened up earlier this month when former principal Mark Korcinsky resigned to pursue other professional opportunities. Ceh, who previously served as principal of Ryan Gloyer Middle School, is returning to the senior high school where he once worked as the dean of students. Ceh also has previous experience in the District as a middle school social studies teacher.
The opening left at the middle school by Ceh’s relocation will be filled by Babusci, who is another familiar face in the district. Babsuci is moving to the role from his position as the assistant principal of the Seneca Valley Academy of Choice (SVAOC), a K-12 cyber and arts program within the district. Mr. Babusci has been with Seneca Valley for the past 14 years, serving as a social studies teacher, cyber teacher and SVAOC administrator during his tenure.
