Two Butler County women were hurt Tuesday in a head-on crash that closed a Butler Township bridge.
The accident happened just before noon on the East Jefferson Street Bridge.
Butler Township Police said 36-year-old Lisa Blake of Butler was traveling west on Route 68 when her vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane and hit a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Susan Daniels of Chicora.
Both women were airlifted in separate helicopters to Pittsburgh hospitals. Both of their vehicles- a Toyota Corolla and a Nissan Maxima- were heavily damaged.
Police say the crash is still under investigation. No charges were filed Tuesday.
