A weekend motorcycle crash in Franklin Township seriously injured two people.
The crash happened on Friday evening about 5:30 p.m. on Prospect Road (Route 528)- near Grindel Road.
State police say 71-year-old Thomas Bixler of Slippery Rock was traveling south on Prospect Road on a 2003 Harley-Davidson Road King when he struck a deer.
Both he, and his passenger- identified as 33-year-old Nakisha Young of Slippery Rock- were injured. They were both taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital.
Their injuries were suspected to be serious, according to officials.
