Emergency responders were busy at the scenes of two different accidents in Butler County Tuesday afternoon.
The first happened just before 3 p.m. in Marion Township on Eau Claire Road near Black Road.
State Police in Butler say 70-year-old Richard Pisor of Boyers was traveling east in a Dodge Caravan when he lost control and crashed head-on into a tree. Richard and his passenger- 65-year-old Dorothy Pisor- were both taken to Grove City Hospital.
Immediately following that crash, crews were called to a pedestrian accident in Oakland Township. The crash happened in the 800 block of Chicora Road. A medical helicopter was reportedly put on stand-by but it’s unclear if anyone was flown to a hospital.
