Butler County Community College has received a couple of significant donations from two area companies.
NexTier Bank and Snyder Associated Companies have each contributed $50,000 to the Pioneer Proud Campaign of the BC3 Education Foundation.
Both gifts are unrestricted, which allows college leadership to use the funds where they will have the greatest impact.
NexTier Bank has 24 community offices throughout Allegheny, Armstrong and Butler counties. Snyder Associated Companies has 1,000 employees and invests in mining, natural gas production, and manufacturing. Both businesses are headquartered in Kittanning.
